Mint Cannabis hiring event supports move to 24-hour operations in St. Peters
Mint Cannabis will hold an on-site hiring event Saturday, Aug. 1, as the company expands its Missouri workforce and prepares to transition its St. Peters dispensary to 24-hour operations.
The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mint Cannabis, located at 150 Mid Rivers Mall Circle in St. Peters. Hiring managers will conduct interviews during the event, and qualified applicants may move forward in the hiring process the same day.
Mint is hiring for several retail, management, inventory, and security positions, including assistant store managers, inventory specialists, retail shift leads, patient service representatives, commonly called budtenders, and security team members.
“Some of our best hires have come from in-person hiring events,” said Rudy Molina, vice president of operations at Mint Cannabis. “Meeting candidates face-to-face allows us to get to know the person behind the résumé, including their personality, communication style, and passion for customer service, in a way that an online application simply can’t.”
Molina said the hiring event provides Mint with an opportunity to look beyond an applicant’s experience while giving prospective employees a better understanding of the company.

“While online applications and recruiters remain valuable recruiting tools, we see tremendous value in hosting in-person hiring events,” Molina said. “Skills can be taught, but attitude, professionalism, and a desire to grow are qualities we look for from the very first conversation. These events allow us to identify those qualities early while giving candidates an authentic look at our team, culture, and what it’s like to work at Mint Cannabis.”
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Facility Agent ID Card. Candidates are encouraged to bring a résumé, two forms of identification, and their Missouri Facility Agent ID Card, if applicable.
Prospective employees may also apply in advance by emailing a résumé to grow@themintdispensary.com.
Mint lists career advancement opportunities, product and merchandise discounts, and health, dental, and vision benefits for eligible employees among the benefits available to its workforce.
“As Mint continues to grow, we’re looking for people who want more than just a job,” Molina said. “We want individuals who are excited to build a career, contribute to a positive team environment, and help us continue raising the standard for customer experience in the cannabis industry.”
Mint Cannabis employs more than 800 people nationwide and serves medical cannabis patients and adult-use consumers across Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, and Nevada.
