Clovr Cares Foundation donates $55,000 to Kansas City veterans and first responders Following 5th Annual Green Clovr Golf Tournament
Clovr Cares Foundation and Green Precision Analytics co-host annual charity tournament benefiting Veterans Community Project and Answering the Call 911
The Clovr Cares Foundation is proud to announce the donation of $55,000 in proceeds from the 5th Annual Green Clovr Golf Tournament, an annual charity event co-hosted by Clovr Cares Foundation and Green Precision Analytics.
This year’s tournament raised funds benefiting two Kansas City organizations dedicated to supporting Veterans, first responders and their families:
$40,000 – Veterans Community Project
$15,000 – Answering the Call 911
The donations are being made by the Clovr Cares Foundation from proceeds generated through the Green Clovr Golf Tournament, made possible by the participation and generosity of tournament sponsors, golfers, vendors, volunteers and community partners.
FIVE YEARS OF GOLF, GIVING AND COMMUNITY
Now in its fifth year, the Green Clovr Golf Tournament has grown into an annual tradition bringing together members of Missouri’s cannabis industry and Kansas City business community for a day of competition, camaraderie and, most importantly, giving back.
Clovr Cares Foundation and Green Precision Analytics serve as co-hosts of the annual tournament, working together to organize the event and bring businesses, sponsors and individuals together in support of organizations making a meaningful difference in the community.
“This tournament has always been about what we can accomplish when we bring people together around a common purpose,” said Kris Sudduth, COO of Clovr Cannabis. “Green Precision Analytics has been an important partner in hosting and growing this event, and the support we receive from our sponsors, golfers, vendors and volunteers is what ultimately makes these donations possible.”
$40,000 FOR VETERANS COMMUNITY PROJECT
The Clovr Cares Foundation donated $40,000 to Veterans Community Project, a Kansas City-founded nonprofit dedicated to serving Veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Veterans Community Project provides transitional tiny-home communities, individualized case management and outreach services designed to help Veterans overcome barriers and achieve long-term stability.
The organization has been an important beneficiary of the Green Clovr Golf Tournament since the event’s early years.
$15,000 FOR ANSWERING THE CALL 911
An additional $15,000 will be donated by the Clovr Cares Foundation to Answering the Call 911, a Kansas City-area nonprofit dedicated to supporting first responders and their families during times of significant need.
Answering the Call 911 assists members of the first responder community facing serious injury, illness and other circumstances that can create unexpected financial hardship.
“Veterans and first responders represent service in its purest form,” Sudduth said. “These are people who have chosen to serve their country and their communities. Being able to support organizations that are there for them when they need help is exactly what Clovr Cares was created to do.”
MADE POSSIBLE BY OUR COMMUNITY
The success of the Green Clovr Golf Tournament is the result of contributions from throughout the Kansas City and Missouri cannabis communities.
Clovr Cares Foundation and Green Precision Analytics extend their appreciation to every sponsor, golfer, vendor, employee, volunteer and community partner who participated in this year’s tournament.
“While Clovr Cares is presenting these donations, the money was raised by an entire community,” Sudduth added. “Every sponsorship, every team registration and every contribution helped us reach $55,000. We couldn’t do this without the people and businesses that continue to show up and support the Green Clovr Golf Tournament year after year.”
With five tournaments completed, Clovr Cares Foundation and Green Precision Analytics look forward to continuing to grow the Green Clovr Golf Tournament and its impact on the Kansas City community.
